Thursday, January 17 - SBAWI at St. Francis Library 4230 South Nicholson Avenue, St. Francis As part of National Folic Acid Awareness Week, the SBAWI staff will be hosting an informative and fun event at the St. Francis Library starting at 6:30 pm. It is free to attend. Register in person at the library or by phone at 481-7323. http://www.stfrancislibrary.com/
The SBAWI office will be sending information to hospitals and clinics to increase awareness. Posters and brochures are available to distribute in your community. Please contact Tish Sylvester for folic acid items by ordering online at www.sbawi.org, via email or calling.

As part of National Library Week, SBAWI will be presenting information on the materials available in the SBAWI Lending Library and updates on new fund distribution policies. In additional to the presentations, we are inviting families to participate in a toy and book swap session. Bring your gently used books and toys to swap for new items with other families.

Contact the SBAWI office to sign up to be a retailer for 2008 Adopt-a-Ghost® awareness and fundraising campaign. Retailers that sign up before the end of June 2008 will have an added bonus of being cross marketed at the 15th Annual Sprint for Spina Bifida!
