Do you know what the

Spina Bifida Association’s branded color is?

It is TEAL (PMS320).

It is the green/blue color.

 Help organize family

and friends to wear

teal and start getting people to recognize our organization's color.

Membership Information

When contemplating if you should become a member of the Spina Bifida Association of Wisconsin, Inc., please consider what impact your membership will have. Your membership fees enable us to continue providing programs, support, advocacy and education to the many Wisconsin families affected by Spina Bifida. And the number of members joining determines our number of votes at the Annual SBA Meeting in June.

Besides, adding strength to our organization, also consider the benefits membership has for you.

  • SBAWI membership includes membership to the Spina Bifida Association (National) and a subscription to the national Spina Bifida Association newsletter, Insights into Spina Bifida.

  • Members are kept informed of and given priority consideration for special funding that may be available including:

    • The Family Fund – helping families with unexpected or burdensome expenses with small grants available one time per calendar year.

    • The Recreation Fund – funding for people with Spina Bifida to participate in sports and recreational activities.

    • The Campership Fund - giving Wisconsin youth with Spina Bifida a chance to attend a summer camp of their choice.

    • Conference Scholarship Fund – funding toward attendance at Spina Bifida conferences.

  • Students with Spina Bifida who plan to pursue or are currently pursuing a higher education may be eligible for scholarships through SBAWI and/or SBA. Membership gives students priority consideration for the SBAWI scholarship.

  • Membership ensures you will be informed of events including educational and networking workshops and social events.

  • Membership keeps you in contact with other families and advocates in the SB community.

  • A copy of the SBAWI Membership Directory will be available to all members upon request.

Membership Fees: $30 for a family/individual or $50 for professional membership ($20 is sent to SBA).
